Swimming With SharksSwimming With Sharks is Twig's second book for  children. No TV, no friends, and a grandfather struggling with retirement from marine  biology--Sarah's sure her stay in the Florida Keys will be the most boring summer of her  life. That is, until she begins to take notice of the unusual-looking fish that visits her  grandparents' dock every day. When Sarah discovers she's befriended a baby lemon shark,  her fascination with sharks takes root. Before long, Sarah and her grandfather are  inseparable as they spend hours tracking, observing, and swimming with sharks...

Here's what Helen Rosenberg, of the ALA Booklist, had to say  about Swimming With Sarah Marshall swimming with sharksSharks...Sarah Marshall is not thrilled about  spending the summer with her retired grandfather, Dr. Joseph Santos, a renowned shark  specialist. However, when he begins teaching her about sharks, including how to swim next  to them and look them in the eye, her enthusiasm quickly grows. Swimming alongside the  creatures is an adventure in itself, but pales in comparison to what develops when Sarah  and her grandfather discover an illegal "finner" (a fisherman who cuts off shark  for exotic soups, then leaves the fish to die), and Sarah takes it upon herself to stop  him. George interjects a great deal of interesting scientific information into this timely  adventure, which also includes lists of marine conservation organizations and places where  sharks can be seen. Drawings by Yong Chen enhance the story.
